This plane is designed in Soviet Union, but it is still serious firepower in air. This Fighter was designed back in 70s as a firm reply for F-16 and F-15 aircrafts. This is two engine supersonic fighter. Finally MiG 29 became a multipurpose jet fighter. This aircraft can perform various task, and can be equipped with air-to-surface missiles and high precision armaments. The MiG-29 has been manufactured in several major variants, including the multirole Mikoyan MiG-29M and the navalised Mikoyan MiG-29K; the most advanced member of the family to date is the Mikoyan MiG-35. Later models frequently feature improved engines, glass cockpits with HOTAS-compatible flight controls, modern radar and IRST sensors, and considerably increased fuel capacity; some aircraft have also been equipped for aerial refuelling.
After Soviet Union fell biggest MiG 29 fleet remained on Russian territory, and in order to keep this model in operation Mikoyan Bureau started with modernization of those aircrafts. Also MiG29 is the most popular export plane, and actually this is best-seller fighter plane in the World. Basically, this is flying Kalashnikov. There are variety of MiG29 versions, total is more than 10 versions. This is a very reliable plane, that can perform unique maneuvers. For example, vertical take-off, Cobra and Bell. Those are not the only maneuvers, but not every plane can do this. There are underground airfields and vertical take-off is crucial for such kind of conditions. The plane appears out of the ground. Moreover, MiG 29 is used for show High Pilotage figures, by the Flying Teams, such as “Striji” (Fulcrums). They put those machines in the well know Diamond with range less than 2 meters one from each other. This aircraft is legendary for its maneuverability and serious firepower.
